Open Source Gendl (AGPL)

The Gendl kernel is freely available under the AGPL (Affero GNU Public License). This is ideal for:

•Academic research and education
•Hobbyist and personal projects
•Open-source application development
•Evaluation and learning

Under AGPL, you can use, modify, and distribute Gendl freely, as long as you release your application source code under a compatible license. Access the open-source kernel at GitLab.

Note: If you plan to create a competing KBE kernel (in Lisp or another language), exposure to Gendl source code may create copyright concerns. Contact us to discuss alternative arrangements.

Commercial Licensing

For organizations requiring closed-source development or production deployment, Genworks offers commercial licensing with AGPL exceptions:

Professional Edition

Designed for development teams and prototyping:

✓Development license (not for deployment)

Note: Professional Edition is for internal development only. Runtime deployment requires Enterprise Edition.

Support is typically provided through an annual maintenance fee based on your license tier.
